Nevada Griffons youth baseball camp opens for registration

Calling all catchers — and pitchers and infielders and outfielders: the Nevada Griffons have opened registration for their 2021 youth baseball camp.

Ballplayers ages 5-8 will participate from 1:30-3:30 p.m. Thursday, June 17, at Lyons Stadium.

The camp for players ages 9-14 will be from 1:30-4:30 p.m. the next day, June 18, also on the Griffons' home field.

A graduation ceremony at Lyons Stadium will begin at 6:30 p.m. Sunday, June 17.

Cost of the camp is $10 and includes a T-shirt and certificate. Players are encouraged to bring their own bats and gloves.

Registration forms can be found at the YMCA and the Community Center, or at www.nevadagriffons.org under the "Special Events" tab.

Forms can be turned in at Nine Patch Quilts (129 E. Walnut) or brought to the camp.
