NHS netters lose home opener to Lamar, 6-3

The Nevada High School girls tennis team saw some early leads evaporate in a 6-3 home-opening loss to Lamar Monday afternoon on the NHS courts.

The match came a few days after Nevada travelled to Warrensburg for a double-elimination doubles tournament, where Alissa Stutesman and Kourtnee Vestal had the best finish for the Lady Tigers (fourth place). Laura Kimmell and Kallie Erwin also finished fifth.
