Nevada softball hosting Strike Out Cancer Night

Wednesday, October 6, 2021

Along with Nevada Regional Medical Center and support from Heartland Behavioral Health Services, the Nevada High School softball team, will host a Strike Out Cancer Night at its varsity game against Carl Junction Wednesday afternoon at Bushwhacker Field.

By donating $5 for every strikeout, as well as sales from the concession stand, a raffle of a giant decorated sugar cookie, and donations from fans in attendance, the groups will help raise money for local women who cannot afford mammograms.

First pitch is scheduled for 4:30 p.m.
