Vernon County Route W to be closed Wednesday, Nov.10

MoDOT has announced that Vernon County Route W (between County Road 1450 and County Road 1525 in Nevada) will be closed from 8 a.m. to 3 p.m., Wednesday, Nov. 10. The road will be closed to allow MoDOT crews to replace a pipe underneath the road.

Traffic Impacts:

Routes W CLOSED during daytime hours only where crews are set up working

Drivers will be able to get to driveways and entrances on either side of the work zones, but will not be able to travel through the work zones

Drivers urged to find alternate routes. No signed detours are planned.

Electronic message boards located near the planned road work will alert drivers to any changes in the work schedule

Weather and/or scheduling conflicts could alter the work schedule.
