'Best Christmas Pageant Ever' presented over the weekend
The Nevada High School Fine Arts Department presented three performances of "The Best Christmas Pageant Ever" this past weekend.
"We would like to thank you all for attending the performance of 'The Best Christmas Pageant Ever,'" director Leanda Shaw and vocal director Wes Morton wrote in the program. "We are so proud of these performers for enduring the obstacles that they encountered as there were preparing for this show. Through COVID-19 cases, quarantines, sickness, and holiday breaks, these students stayed focused and dedicated to performing the best Christmas pageant we could. Thank you for taking part this evening and supporting them as these students entertain you tonight."
Members of the cast included Jayda Clark as Helen Armstrong; Jayden Theis as Reverend Hopkins; Andee Kimayo as Luonne; Kinzie LeMasters as Betty; and Breaune Nance as Connie.
The Bradley family included Emma Claspill as Grace; Andrew LaNear as Bob; Bruce Bradford as Charlie; and Kelsie Bellich as Beth.
School kids included Neveah Jonkers as Alice; William Dunivan as Elmer; Gabe Weston as Teddy; and Olivia Creech as Ivy.
The notorious Herdman family included Ethan Young as Ralph; Mariska Buehler as Imogene; Sam Miller as Claude; Lillian Davis as Ollie; Olivia Claspill as Gladys; and Nathanial Shaw as Leroy.
Stage crew included Assistant Director Mia Chei; Stage Manager Zane Leer; Set Master Libby Barret; Prop Master Dani Garrett; and Curtain/Crew Katerina Baxter.
