Matthew Joseph Sandoval

Matthew Joseph Sandoval, 32, Nevada, MO passed away on Wednesday, August 3, 2022 at Freeman West Hospital in Joplin, MO. Matthew was born August 15, 1989 in Nevada, MO to Robert and Pamela (Novak) Sandoval.

Matthew grew up in Nevada and graduated from Nevada High School in 2009. Following high school, he attended culinary school. Matthew worked various jobs in food service, including the Nevada Country Club, Truman Healthcare in Lamar and Nathan Richard Health Care Center in Nevada. Matthew battled health issues his entire life.

Matthew is survived by his mother, Pam Sandoval, Nevada, MO; his brother, Zach Valdez (Wendi), Nevada, MO, and his companion, Jennifer Longtine; and three nephews, Riddick Shook, Zayne Valdez and Zaidan Valdez, all of Nevada, MO. He was preceded in death by his father, Robert Sandoval.

Graveside services will be held at 10:00a.m. on Thursday, August 11, 2022 at Newton Burial Park, Nevada. Matthew will be available for viewing from 10:00 a.m. on Tuesday until 8:00 p.m. on Wednesday at the funeral home.
