Francis William LoRee

Francis William LoRee, 92, formerly of Milo, Mo., passed away on Wednesday, Sept. 7, 2022, at Overland Park Centers in Overland Park, Kan. He was born Oct. 28, 1929, in Howell, Mich., to Ranford Henry and Marie Marian (Chapman) Loree. He was united in marriage to Mary Alice Van Blaricum and she preceded him in death on Feb. 11, 2009.

Francis came to Missouri in 1968 from Michigan. He worked as a meet cutter all of his life at Maxwell’s in Nevada and also in Rich Hill until his retirement.

Survivors include two children, Frank LoRee (Mary), Dover, Tenn., and Brenda Baxter, Milo, Mo.; a stepdaughter, Sandy Kirbey (John), Sheldon, Mo.; several grandchildren, great-grandchildren; numerous nieces and nephews. In addition to his wife Mary, he was preceded in death by his parents; two brothers; four sisters; and a stepson, Rex Spall.

Funeral services will be held at 10:30 a.m., Monday, Sept. 12, at Ferry Funeral Home, in Nevada. Interment will follow in Sheldon Cemetery, Sheldon, Mo. Friends may call now and until the hour of service at Ferry Funeral Home in Nevada.
