Downtown Nevada Square and businesses host 'Safe Treats Parade'

Trick-or-Treaters gathered in large numbers on the Nevada Square Monday afternoon to collect candy as part of Halloween Day festivities. Downtown businesses gave out candy as part of the Safe Treats Parade. Other community activities included "Treats without Tricks," hosted by the Nevada Elks Lodge and Nevada Parks and Recreation; as well as a Trunk-or-Treat, hosted by Nevada MO Cruisers.
