Dixie Lee Hendricks

Dixie Lee Hendricks, passed away on Sunday, Dec. 18, 2022, at the Barton County Hospital in Lamar, Mo., at the age of 81. Dixie was born on Oct. 22, 1941, to Evelyn and Richard Dickason in Blackwell, Okla. She was united in marriage to Jack Hendricks and he preceded her in death 1980. Dixie worked at the Nevada Daily Mail for numerous years, and at the State Hospital.

Dixie was preceded in death by her parents, Evelyn (Mollie) Dickason Denning and Richard (Dick) Dickason, her children, DeNita Hutchens, Richard Loiselle, and LeeDonna York.

She is survived by her sisters, Diane (Allan) Martin and Delene Fulton; grandchildren, Danielle Bemis, state of Michigan, and Ethan (Hannah) and Evan York, Nevada, Mo.; and great-grandchildren, Roper York, Isabella York, and Lincoln York.

Dixie will be missed by her sisters and grandchildren but know that she will now be with the love of her life, her husband, Jack, and family who went before her.

Following cremation, a private committal will be held in the Stockton City Cemetery, Stockton, Mo., at a later date.
