The Nevada High School Show Choirs held their 'Meet the Choirs' night Thursday evening. This serves as an opportunity for the community to see each choir's show ahead of their competition season and introduce all of the choir members. The Soundational Singers (above) performed a country music themed show with songs "Dance with Me / All My Rowdy Friends," "Devil Went Down to Georgia," "Boondocks," "Any Man of Mine," "Cruise," and "Country Medley." Soloists included Rachel Deweese, Kelsie Bellich, Maddie Jeffries, Ethan Young, Hailey Taylor, Kenzie LeMasters, Blaiz Pace, Will Dunnivan, Colin Hale, Salem Jonker, Kylie Ast, and Jaden Theis (pictured in center).

The all-female show choir, Treble Effects, had a jail/"rotten to the core" theme. Their songs included "Rotten to the Core," "Love is a Crime," "Writings on the Wall," and "Jailhouse Rock." Their soloists included Emma Claspill, Addyson Pryor, Brooklyn Shaw, Kelsie Bellich, Maddie Jeffries (pictured third from left), and Ariana Alvarez.

Mixed choir, Vocal Fusion, performed a retro themed show with songs such as "It's a Sunshine Day," "Cherish," "I Think I Love You," and "Keep On." Soloists included Brooklyn Shaw, Alyssa Mitchell, and Ethan Young. Vocal Music Director Wes Morton noted that all of the choirs' songs were arranged by former show choir member McCade Gordon.
