Nevada High School AFJROTC places second in Knob Noster drill competition

Cadets in the Nevada High School Air Force Junior Reserve Officers' Training Corps (AFJROTC) program took second place in the Unarmed Exhibition division of the TRIAD High School drill competition, held in Knob Noster, Mo., on Saturday. This team was led by Cadet Major Tayven Davis. This was the first drill competition of the year for Nevada’s AFJROTC program, led by Cadet Captain Elise Moreland and Drill Instructor Master Sergeant James Quinlan. Other teams, commanded by Raven Matthews, Tyler Vance, and John Moss, came very close to bringing home additional trophies. The Drill Team competes next in Lee’s Summit on Feb. 4.
