Sheldon students learn real-life financial skills

The junior and senior classes of Sheldon High School participated in a "real-life scenario" checklist skills event at Hume High School on Thursday, March 23. The students experienced what it is like to become an adult and learn to live within their means based on their income from various professions. The topics covered in the event included debts, expenses, the cost of having children, housing, transportation, personal care, and more. At the end of the event, the students learned whether their choices left them in the positive or negative.
