Low Daniel “Danny” Todd
Low Daniel “Danny” Todd passed away on July 11, 2023, at the age of 67, in his hometown of Nevada, Mo. He was born Nov. 20, 1955, in Nevada, to Erbin Regar (Sr.) and Margaret Agnes Todd.
Dan is survived by his wife Eileen Todd of the home; three daughters Megan Todd, Kansas City, Mo., Lauren Todd, Tulsa, Okla., and Hannah Todd, Honolulu, Hawaii; two sisters, Maggie Earnest (Jim), Pleasant Hill, Mo., and Alice Shupe (Ken), Nevada; and several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents, and a brother, Regar Todd Jr.
Dan grew up in Nevada and graduated from Nevada High School in 74’. He went on to attend college and graduated from UCM, formerly known as Central Missouri State University in 77’ obtaining a bachelor’s degree in Design & Drafting Technology. Amongst getting his degree, CMSU is where he made many friends and met his wife, Eileen. After school they moved to Kansas City, Mo., where he worked as a Senior Draftsman at Burns & McDonnell for 36 years. Dan loved working with so many different people from all different countries and backgrounds. He always worked so hard to make sure his family and loved ones were taken care of and helped anyone who crossed his path in life. He truly was an amazing man, caring father, and loving husband.
He inspired a lot of people, including his family, with all his passions which kept him busy after retirement including woodworking, motorcycles, home improvement projects at the family farm house, gardening, jamming out to old records, and enjoying trips to see his daughters. He was a true renaissance man and will be greatly missed.
Memorial services will be held at 2 p.m., Tuesday, July 18, at Ferry Funeral Home in Nevada, Mo., with Jim Lawrence officiating.
Memorials are suggested in his name to the American Heart Association in care of Ferry Funeral Home.
