History runs deep at Deepwood Cemetery

Deepwood Cemetery is the oldest cemetery in Nevada and the final resting place of Civil War veterans and town founders.

South of Nevada lies a quiet, obscure plot dedicated to the memory of many local townspeople. In the past, it’s been the sight of some interesting activity, and not just around Halloween. It is well known to many local citizens as Deepwood Cemetery.
