Main Street project asks for input on preserving, improving downtown

A community survey is asking for input on improvements to downtown Nevada. The goal is to preserve the square and create economic development.

The Main Street project for the downtown area of Nevada is progressing in an encouraging way, according to project director, Tina Joy Cochran.

Recap: At the end of 2023, beginning of 2024, the city of Nevada received a community empowerment grant from Missouri Main Street Connection, which provides consultation and support for the planning and implementation of goals to revitalize the downtown.
