Damage assessment continues at First Christian Church

Construction contractors hired by the insurance company are consulting on the structural damage from the Aug. 17 fire that destroyed the Nevada First Christian Church building.

Just as he was entering his fourth month as the new pastor of Nevada First Christian Church, Pastor Tim McMillan was out of town when he received a phone call informing him the church was in flames. In fact, he said he saw it on social media first and was still dealing with the amazement when the call came through
