Week of September 11, 1970

 In this week’s look back at yesteryear we are taking a look at the 1970 Nevada opener vs the Camdenton Lakers. The Tigers were coming off a 6-4 record the fall before in the first year of Head Coach John Osborne’s tenure. In 1970, the Tigers would feature an unbelievable amount of talent in the offensive backfield including the 1969 leading rusher, Tom Cherry. Other running backs that would help lead the Tiger offensive assault were Tim Dade, Ben Olson and future All State player Mark Gordon.
