Our nation is big enough to allow for several regional stereotypes; for example, there’s the southern belle, the New York sophisticate and the California beach bum. Personally, I was born and bred in the “fly-over zone” and I happily embrace that parentage. However, although I can tell the difference between a cow and a bull, (unfortunately not growing up in 4-H), that’s about as far as my Midwestern animal husbandry goes.
