The Nevada Tigers hosted the East Newton Patriots in Big 8 Conference play last night at Logan Field.  Nevada came into the contest 3-1 after winning a road contest last week at McDonald County 15-10. East Newton dropped a home decision last Friday to Mt. Vernon 48-6. The Tigers were able to hold on to their Top 10 Class 4 ranking where they currently sit at the 8th spot. The Tigers have won the last 6 of 8 contests dating back to 2010. Nevada holds a 17-5 advantage historically since the series began in 1976.
