Tigers Roll in District Opener Over Raytown South, 42-12

The Nevada Tigers hosted the Raytown South High School Cardinals in opening round district play last night. Nevada came into the contest 7-2 after dropping a road contest last week at district top seeded Pleasant Hill, 46-21. Meanwhile, the Cardinals, 4-5, dropped a road decision last Friday at Grandview, 26-7. The two teams have met one time in the past, a 2017 district contest in which Nevada won 48-32.
