Nevada downs Carthage 50-45 in Season Opener

Wynn Gymnasium – The Nevada Tigers varsity and JV basketball squads opened their 2024-25 season by playing host to Carthage Tuesday night at Wynn Gymnasium. Nevada is coming off 16-12 season and a District Runner-up finish in 2023-2024. Meanwhile, Carthage was 15-11 last season. Nevada has won seven of the past 11 contests dating back to 2016, however, Carthage has taken the last three games between the two squads.
