Tigers move to 3-0 after road win at Carl Junction

The Nevada Tigers varsity and JV basketball squads traveled to Carl Junction to play the host Bulldogs Tuesday night. Nevada is coming off a 44-42 victory over Neosho and is 2-0 on the young season.  Carl Junction is 3-0 on the 24-25 campaign after winning the Forsyth Tournament over the weekend.  CJ defeated the tourney host 74-73 in the finals.  Nevada and CJ have split the last 12 contests on the hardwoods dating back to 2008, each team capturing 6 victories.   Carl Junction won last year’s matchup in Nevada 66-62.
