CARTHAGE – The 4-1 Nevada Tigers varsity squad concluded play in the 78th annual Carthage Basketball Tournament against the Joplin Eagles in the fifth place game Saturday afternoon. Nevada was coming off a 61-37 victory over Fort Smith (AR) Southside on Friday while the Eagles were 55-39 winners over Leavenworth (Kan.) High School.
