Tigers Defeat Cardinals in Non-Conference Action at Clinton

The 11-4 Nevada Tigers varsity squad traveled to Clinton Tuesday night. Nevada was coming off a 53-51 victory over Fair Grove in the Frontenac Tournament on Saturday.  Clinton defeated Oak Grove Monday night 56-43 at home to move to 10-6 on the season.  Nevada came into the contest averaging 52 points per game while giving up 43 points on defense.  The Cardinals are averaging 55 points per game on offense while giving up 49 points on defense. The Tigers have taken 21 out of the last 25 contests between the two schools dating back to 2009, including last year’s match up by a score of 57-48 at Nevada.
