New Nevada comprehensive plan to start with parks and rec department

The first meeting of 2025 for the Nevada Parks and Recreation Department was held in the City Council Chambers Wednesday evening, Jan. 29.
After approval of the December 2024 minutes, Sim Miller, chairman of the Nevada Planning Commission discussed the development of a new city comprehensive plan. Miller showed the 1984 revision of the city plan, which was hand-typed and two-pages long.
