Sharon Sue Dipman

Sharon Sue Dipman, 75, Sheldon, MO, passed away on Saturday, February 1, 2025, at her home in Sheldon surrounded by her loving family.  Sharon was born on July 28, 1949, in Sheldon, MO to Robert and Helen (Mann) Conner.  She married William “Bill” J. Dipman, Sr. on December 18, 1967, in Miami, OK.  He preceded her in death on July 23, 1997. 

    Sharon lived her entire life in Sheldon and graduated from Sheldon High School in 1967.  She was primarily a homemaker but worked for several years as a secretary for Metz Grain.  She also worked at the Rest Haven Nursing Home in Sheldon for a time.   Sharon enjoyed crossword puzzles and day trips with her sisters, but most of all, loved being with her family.    She was very much anticipating the birth of a great-granddaughter due in March.  

     In addition to her husband, Bill, Sharon was preceded in death by her parents; three brothers, Bobby Conner, Allen Conner, and Donnie Conner; and sister-in-law, Ila Conner.

     Survivors include her sons, Billy Dipman, Jr. (Joanna), Ozark, MO and  Michael Dipman, Sheldon, MO; her daughter, Melissa Leavell (Steve), Sheldon, MO; 8 grandchildren, Kelsey Leavell, Eric Leavell (Haley), Devion Leavell (Rebecca), Kylie Shelton (George), Gavin Dipman, Jason Leavell (Parris), Trenton Dipman, Hadlee Dipman; and 5 great-grandchildren, Dawson, Ivan, Cannon, Quinn, and Vivlin; two sisters, Kay Overton, Nevada, MO and Vickie Rice (Jim), Irwin, MO; and sister-in-law, Roberta Conner, Sheldon, MO. 

     A private family committal will be held @ 2:00 p.m. on Friday, February 7, 2025, at the Sheldon Cemetery in Sheldon, MO.  Arrangements are under the direction of Ferry Funeral Home.
