Delinda Renee Johnson

Delinda Renee Johnson, 51, of Nevada, MO went to be with the Lord on Monday, February 3, 2025.  She was born to Ronald Johnson and Carol Lowry on September 18, 1973.  

She was preceded in death by her father and her beloved Curtis Wilson.    

Survivors include her three children, Zachary O’Bryan, Carolina O’Bryan, and Spencer O’Bryan, all of Ft. Scott, KS; Cari Wilson and Ashley Wilson, Pittsburg, KS; five sisters, Vickie Floyde, Overland Park, KS, Alecia Johnson, Dickson, TN, Rebekah Foley, Nevada, MO, Christin Johnson Menan, Nevada, MO, and Dana Shadden, Arma, KS; one brother, Waylon Johnson, Moran, KS; three grandchildren; numerous nieces, nephews, uncles, aunts, and cousins.

Delinda had great faith in the Lord Jesus Christ and loved all that crossed her path.  She was happy, spontaneous, full of compassion to help anyone in need.  She had a smile on her face when she was approached by people.  She had a full life of good memories with family and friends.  Delinda loved football and was a Broncos fan.  She was a champion in horse shoes, and was a lot of fun to be around.  We will miss her greatly but we know she is in the Home she believed in.  She trusted God with everything.

A Celebration of Life will be held at Delinda’s home at 815 W. Arch St., Nevada, MO between 4:00-6:00 on Friday, February 7, 2025.  Private family interment in the Pleasant View Cemetery in Ft. Scott, KS will be held at a later date.  Those who wish may contribute to the family in Delinda’s memory in care of Ferry Funeral Home.
