Nevada R-5 Board of Education receives facilities, legislation updates

The Nevada R-5 Bowman Building will be declared surplus property. The sale at closed-bids auction is pending.

During the Feb. 12 Nevada R-5 School District Board meeting, Superintendent Dr. Tyson Beshore provided updates district buildings and pending state legislation.

• The district is still in need of several bus drivers, all district facilities are doing well, and school, which had been called off due to weather conditions, was also going to be out on Thursday, Feb. 13, due to the roads “icing back over."
