3M brings training center to NRTC students

Inside the 3M Safety and STEM mobile unit, students work together to produce a “customer’s order” and use robotics to help begin a distribution process.

The students of the Nevada Regional Technical Center were introduced to the 3M Worker Safety/STEM Training Center mobile unit in the NRTC parking lot Thursday, April 10. Included in the program were practical demonstrations as well as hands-on experiences in the areas of science, technology, engineering, and mathematics, (S.T.E.M).
