Betty Jean Thomas, 81, Nevada, passed away Tuesday, Dec. 11, 2007, at her residence. She was born Sept. 17, 1926, in St. Joseph, Mo. She was married Aug. 30, 1955, in Yuma, Ariz., to Charles R. Thomas and he survives of the home. Mrs. Thomas grew up in St. Joseph. She worked in the aircraft manufacturing industry during World War II. She also worked for a number of years in the manufacturing of Christmas tree lights in Kansas City. She and her husband Charles have lived in Nevada, since 1992...

According to his report, upon arriving at the convenience store he was informed that 21-year-old Michael Dickey had allegedly reached into a donation jar while making a purchase and removed several different bills...
