American Civil War scholars and hobbyists will have their first-ever, online access to thousands more pages of historical records in 2010. A new, $94,269 grant will fund phase 2 of "Community & Conflict: The Impact of the Civil War in the Ozarks." After spending three days in Nevada looking carefully at the Nevada R-5 School District, visiting schools, interviewing the school administration, teachers, staff, students, parents and other stakeholders, the entire Nevada school district has been recommended to receive a five-year district-wide accreditation from the North Central Association on Accreditation and School Improvement, James Jilck, chairman of the AdvancED accreditation team, told the R-5 board and staff members during a special school board meeting Wednesday afternoon.. ...
