Edith "Arlie" Stewart passed away at home on Christmas Eve in Leavenworth, Kan. Visitation will be from 6 to 8 p.m., Wednesday, Dec. 28, and the funeral services will be 10 a.m., Thursday, Dec. 29, both at the Alden-Harrington Funeral Home. Four Vernon County residents were injured in the early morning hours of Christmas during a single vehicle accident on U.S. 71 Highway. A Missouri State Highway Patrol online crash report said the crash happened at 2 a.m., one mile South of Rich Hill, when a north bound Chevrolet Blazer, driven by 26-year-old Randy McDonald of Nevada, ran off the right side of the roadway...
