Karolyn A. Perkins passed away on Nov. 22, 2011, in San Pedro, Calif. She was the only child of Kenneth and Nadine Perry Perkins of Nevada, Mo. Karolyn was a 1964 graduate of Nevada High School. She later attended El Camino College. She became a gemologist and worked for many years at the San Pedro Jewelry Mart.
