Thanks to the latest batch of rain and snow to move through the region Sunday into early Monday, a number of local sporting events that were scheduled to take place Monday were postponed. The Sheldon Panthers varsity baseball team bounced back from a 7-3 defeat at the hands of the Bobcats of Drexel High School Thursday, by routing the Ballard Bulldogs, 25-0, Friday, in a road game that was shortened by the run rule.
