Sandra Jean Price, 67, Nevada, Mo., passed away on Thursday, Jan. 28, 2016, at Freeman Hospital, in Joplin, Mo., following a lengthy illness. Six Nevada Lady Tiger volleyball players were named to the 2015-16 Academic All-State team. The eighth-seeded Sheldon Panthers boys basketball team triumphed 50-47 over fifth-seeded Climax Springs in the consolation semifinals of the Osceola Basketball Tournament, Thursday night.
