Sheldon splits with Weableau

The Sheldon Panthers earned a 50-48 victory over Weableau on Homecoming Night Friday in Sheldon. In the other varsity hoops contest, the Lady Panthers were defeated 51-28. The boys' contest was tied at 27 apiece at halftime and remained evened up through three quarters of play with the scoreboard reading 39-39. Sheldon then outscored the visitors 11-9 in the final frame. The non-conference victory improves the Panthers to 11-9 overall (7-2 GVVC-play)...
