Austin Forkner's Supercross championship aspirations came to a disheartening end Sunday, as a hard crash during the second lap knocked him out of the 250 East/West Showdown Finale in Salt Lake City. The severity of the wreck resulted in a full-restart, as well as Forkner's departure from the event. As of press time Monday, details of Forkner's injury were not available...

It was a grand day for Nevada High School freshmen student-athletes Case Sanderson and Kirstin Buck, as the duo were named 2020 recipients of the Kelly Bradham Memorial Newcomer Award. Paul Elliott Lauderback Jr., 79, Walker, Mo., passed away on Saturday, June 20, 2020, at his home in Walker. Paul was born Sept. 12, 1940, in Santa Monica, Calif., to Paul E. and Freddie (Meyer) Lauderback. He married Frances Laverne Elliott in April of 1982 and she preceded him in death on July 28, 2016...
