Patrol urges caution during holiday weekend

On Tuesday, Nov. 2, Nevada High school students traveled to Webb City to audition for the District Honor Band. The following students made the band and traveled to Missouri Southern State University on Saturday, Nov. 6, for an all-day rehearsal and a 7 p.m. concert. Students who were selected for the honor band as well as the alternates were eligible to try out for State band on Dec. 4, in Columbia. Nevada campus Crowder students graduate

Twenty-one students from the Nevada campus of Crowder College graduated on Dec. 18 during commencement exercises on the main campus at Neosho. Girl Scouts create special tree for fellow scout

Some of the Girl Scout troops in Nevada wanted to do something special for Audrey Gustafsonm who is an 8-year-old Brownie from Webb City, Mo. Audrey was diagnosed in May with Acute Myeloid Leukemia.
