Melvin N. Kithcart, 88, of Rich Hill, Mo., died Jan. 26, 2012, at the Willow Lane Center, Butler, Mo. Funeral services will be held Monday, Jan. 30, at 10 a.m., at the Heuser Funeral Home with burial and military rites in the Greenlawn Cemetery, Rich Hill. Fort Scott Police Department officers and detectives have arrested four people in connection with recent burglaries in the area. FSPD Chief Ron Puterbaugh said Friday the arrests followed an investigation in which the suspects were identified and two search warrants were served.
