New group formed to help Nevada hospital

The name of the group is Citizens United to Strengthen our Hospital (CUSOH). It was the brainchild of Dr. Warren Lovinger, a local physician of internal medicine who, this year, is completing 40 years of service to Nevada. “I had a conversation with a number of community folks, none of whom were hospital employees, and they all said they were getting concerned about the condition of our hospital but with the announcement of the closure of Fort Scott Mercy it all came home and all said we’ve got to do something,” said Lovinger who noted the number of community owned hospitals in Missouri currently stands at 30.. ...
