That is, when you are just doing your usual tasks, and are not talking to another person or even to an animal, do you express your own thoughts -- to yourself -- in complete sentences? I don't know if I have always done this or not, but lately I have been aware that instead of just getting up and going to do something, I say to myself, "I'd better get up and start supper (or whatever)."...

Many Vernon County residents may assume that drugs and crime are just a big city problem. But we have our own drug problem in Vernon County -- the manufacturing, use and trafficking of methamphetamine. Investigator Jay Hamilton, with the Vernon County Sheriff's Office, reports that in 2003 and the first part of 2004 86 people were arrested for manufacturing, intent to manufacture or possession of methamphetamine.
