100 Years Ago -- July 16, 1903 Postmaster McAnuity will soon be able to furnish most anything his patrons may ask for, that is if the government keeps adding to his office. We thought the free mail delivery was something great but this was soon eclipsed by the rural route deliveries and now after delivering and taking up your mail, the postmaster will each week give you the crop report and every day he will supply the public with a telegraphic weather forecast so the public will know whether to leave umbrellas at home or take them along on their journey. ...
