100 Years Ago -- August 1, 1903 The Grand Army of the Republic Annual Reunion opens one week from Monday. The officers are now busy preparing the encampment and next week the tents will arrive and be pitched. A large attendance is expected. The Talbot Drug Store continues to be the busy place on the guessing contest. The last watch was won by Lloyd Williams whose guess was 38 hours, 18 minutes and 8 seconds. The watch ran 38 hours, 49 minutes and 42 seconds...
