A Friday afternoon collision 5 miles north of Joplin on Highway 43 took the lives of John R. Harris, 64, of Hume, and Rhonda Morris, 36, of Joplin. According to a report from the Missouri State Highway Patrol, Harris was northbound in a Ford Explorer when it crossed the centerline of 43 and struck a Toyota driven by Morris...
